Prophecies 09

  "Tuesday Fires "

“On Tuesday, I’m seeing fire. I still want to ask where this fire is. What fire? Is it this coming Tuesday or next Tuesday? Fire, fire, fire. On Tuesday. I talked of the fire. I don’t know but it’s a serious issue”.

On Sunday 26th April, 2009, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave a prophetic revelation concerning fire. He said:

“On Tuesday, I’m seeing fire. I still want to ask where this fire is. What fire? Is it this coming Tuesday or next Tuesday? Fire, fire, fire. On Tuesday. I talked of the fire. I don’t know but it’s a serious issue”.

Exactly as the prophet revealed, a wildfire broke out in Santa Barbara, California, USA on Tuesday, not on the coming Tuesday but the next Tuesday, 5th May, 2009. The wind-whipped fire started about 1:50 p.m. PT on Tuesday 5th May, 2009 in the Cathedral Peak area, in the hills above Santa Barbara.  Let us recall the day mentioned by Prophet TB Joshua.

“On Tuesday, I’m seeing fire. I still want to ask where this fire is. What fire? Is it this coming Tuesday or next Tuesday?”

Starting on that next Tuesday 5th May, 2009, the fire raced through thick chaparral on the slopes above San Roque Canyon, California, USA, burning hundreds of acres land. The fire became increasingly worse on Wednesday as fierce winds sent the wildfire surging into the city igniting homes and forcing evacuations as columns of smoke rose from many neighborhoods in one of California's most scenic coastal enclaves. More than 8,000 people were evacuated, according to a state of emergency proclaimed for Santa Barbara County by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. A county spokesman called it one of the largest evacuations the city or county has ever seen.

“I talked of the fire. I don’t know but it’s a serious issue”.

Precisely as the prophet had said, the fire was indeed a serious issue. More than 800 firefighters were on the lines, battling the wildfire that threatened thousands of homes in Santa Barbara and 20 more strike teams totaling about 1,300 firefighters were requested. The speed at which the fire grew caught residents by surprise. “The blaze bore down on the city at a frightening speed”, said eyewitness, Chad Jenson. "The sky is just deep orange and black, pretty much our whole hillside is going down," Jenson said. Flames continued to burn the hillsides of Santa Barbara into the night as huge mansions and humble homes alike were reduced to rubble, leaving palm trees swaying over gutted ruins.

The prophet stressed the gravity of the situation, saying, “Fire, fire, fire”.
The fire in California was not the only fire to rage that Tuesday 5th May 2009. As another fire this time in Arizona, broke out that same Tuesday that the prophet had specified. The blaze burned through 4,000 acres threatening about 50 homes since it began Tuesday afternoon on private land west of Fort Huachuca, the U.S. Forest Service said in a statement Wednesday. The fire later spread to Coronado National Forest, it said. One person was injured in the blaze and airlifted for treatment, according to Teresa Ann Ciapusci of the U.S. Forest Service.

We thank God that no lives were lost in these wild fires that broke out on that day, Tuesday 5th May, 2009.

We at Emmanuel TV and the SCOAN, thank God for commiting Himself to the protection of His people. Lord Jesus, You are the Cloud. Continue to shelter your people under the shadow of Your protection as You did the Israelites in their journey to the promised land.

After this report was recorded, the fire in Santa Barbara escalated in size, destroying more than 75 properties, including several multi-million dollar mansions with 13,500 residents forced to evacuate.
