  "YOBE STATE GOVERNOR"

"Pray for a person whom I’m seeing packing his luggage, going on a journey of no return. But we keep praying that the Lord, please. This is a man that his people need, his community need, his country need so much."

During a live Sunday service at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave a prophetic message foretelling the passing of a man from the country of Nigeria.

“There is a vision I had 3 days ago. I want us to pray for this country. I just saw the news. Late. Who is late? So. The name of the person and everything about the person was shown to me. In fact, I asked God, “Should I say this name?” But let’s just pray. From this country. So, let us pray. If it is the will of God, there is nothing we can do about it. Ask God, “Lord Jesus, take control.” Your mercy and Your favour. Let Your will be done in the life of this person. It’s a man. The person is a man. I read it in the news. He’s late. So I just woke up. So then I keep on praying. But if it is the will of God, let the will of God be done. But. The mercy and favour of God, in Jesus’ name.”

Three weeks later, during another live Sunday Service, Prophet T.B. Joshua further prophesied concerning the passing of this man.

“I want you to fast and pray. Fast and pray. You remember one message I gave last three weeks and I said pray for a person whom I’m seeing packing his luggage, going on a journey of no return. But we keep praying that the Lord, please. This is a man that his people need, his community need, his country need so much. Ask God for God’s intervention.”

On Tuesday, 27th January 2009, Yobe State Governor Mamman Ali of Nigeria died unexpectedly after his battle with leukemia. Let us watch the reports.

Senator Mamman Bello Ali, the Governor of Yobe State, aged 51, had travelled to the United States of America to seek medical treatment when he suddenly passed away while in hospital, confirming the words of Prophet T.B. Joshua: “If it is the will of God, there is nothing we can do about it. Ask God, “Lord Jesus, take control.” Your mercy and Your favour. Let Your will be done in the life of this person. It’s a man. The person is a man. I read it in the news. He’s late. So I just woke up.”

Upon hearing the report that Governor Mamman Ali had died, former National Chairman, ANPP, Alhaji Yusuf Ali, commented on the governor, “...he was honest and he discharged his duties to the admiration of the party...He was very dedicated and hardworking and all the senators can testify to that. The people of Nigeria and Yobe state will miss him dearly.”

Vice President Goodluck Jonathan called off a meeting with the 36 state governors scheduled for the morning of the 27th, announcing to governors present the misfortune that had befallen one of them. As he made the announcement, the governors were said to have shouted in shock as tears rolled down the faces of many.

Governor Mamman Ali had been in the senate since 1999 and had just begun his service to the people of Yobe State as governor one and a half years ago. Following his death, the Chief Judge, Justice Baba Saje Gujba has sworn in the Deputy Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Geidam with the declaration of an eight-day period of mourning while flags would remain at half mast.

We at Emmanuel TV and The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations pray for the family, loved ones and colleagues of Governor Mamman Bello Ali. We pray that you would find hope and strength in God alone during this time. Hope comes when we have total dependence on God for everything. When there is total dependence on God, there is hope for the weak, for the lonely and for those who mourn.

To the departed soul, we say, shalom.
To the family and friends, we say Emmanuel.
To the Almighty Father, we say, Hallow.
